For the last week or something, we have been selling fireworks! But just like everything, nothing went right.
When we arrived, we saw our little black stand just alone in a parking lot. It didn't look that good, but not really bad at all. But then we pulled into the parking lot, and right by our stand, is a storage container for the grocery store. Guess what! It was freshly tagged! That's what scared my mom, because she was afraid our RV being tagged. I thought it would be pretty cool, if it was on the back, and really cool tag! But I don't think my mom would like that much.
So, our next problem, was that after we were all set up, and got our stand all looking nice, and then we got told that we needed the fire marshal to check our stand for fire safety. They told us this about 5 o'clock on a Friday night. We called around, just to find out he was already home, and wouldn't be able to check our stand till Monday. This was bad news, because we would miss out on 2 days of selling stuff. The fire marshal came on Monday, about noon. So then we got all of that figured out.
So, to bump up business, TNT had every stand have a drawing for a really big box of fireworks. We got this box, and then we had many people sign up for the drawing. The day of the drawing, we set up the box on a table in front of our stand. About noon, my mom was watching the stand as the rest of the family had lunch. When my mom looked at the box, it was gone! So our drawing prize got stolen! During this, there was a guy hiding behind the bus stop on a blue-tooth who just kept looking at where the prize box was. I asked him if he saw anything, and he answered no, in a stuttering voice. After that, he walked and zigzagged through cars, until he reached his, and then he got in with another guy. After they changed parking spots a couple of times, the guy with the blue-tooth climbed in a different car and left. The other guy stayed for about 5 minutes, then left the same way.
That's pretty much the end of our problems here.
Until my next post,
Justice
